The formation of vesicles based on the self-assembly of block copolymers in selective solvents has been studied employing a micromixer. In a comparable batch experiment, different morphologies are observed, including spheres, cylinders and vesicles. Depending on the mixing ratio of the solvents and their flow rates, the micromixer process yields spheres and vesicles of sizes and distributions comparable to the ones obtained by the batch process. The size of the micellar assemblies has been investigated by dynamic light scattering (DLS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and was found to be 15 - 30 nm for the spheres and 35 - 70 nm for the vesicles.
