Experimental methods for the study of the aeroelastic behavior of slender structures

Abstract
The principle of fluid-structure coupling and the similarity considerations for aeroelastic wind tunnel testing are described briefly. The four experimental techniques used for predicting the aeroelastic behaviour of large slender structures are discussed giving the strengths and weaknesses of each.
