Reconstruction of climate anomalies and occurrences of natural disaster (floods, dryness, storms) in central Europe during the last 500 years

Abstract
The reconstruction of climatic anomalies in central Europe and the occurrence of natural disaster since 500 years are assessed by Pfister from monthly temperature and precipitation index and monthly mean surface pressure. The appearance of these anomalies is connected with the occurrence of natural disasters that are sufficiently known in the area of the Central Alps over the last five centuries.
