Abstract
The present paper presents a device EUROSKIM®aimed to skim at high speed the surface of the ocean in case of an oil spill. This device which works on the principle of a water ski has been originally developed by Mrs Valibouse and Bonazzi of Neyrtec. The present contribution deals with the integration of the device to a high speed catamaran and to the means utilised to process the emulsion.
