Abstract
This article describes some of the methods and modelling techniques used by Sogreah, in order to predict the behaviour of effluents discharged into the coastal waters. These effluents can be of different kinds: sewage disposal, industrial effluent, thermal discharge. In order to maintain the beneficial use of coastal waters, it is important to simulate, as accurately as possible, the convection, dispersion and assimilation of these effluents into the environment.
