Modélisation mathématique de l'hydrodynamique et du mouvement de la pollution en système lagunaire. Application aux étangs palavasiens
Application to a real case of a finite element mathematical model of simulation of the hydrodynarnical behaviour of a system of lagoons, canals and rivers, and of the advection-diffusion of pollutants through the system

Abstract
This paper describes the . The modelised system is the complex system around Palavas (cf. fig. 1) including three main lagoons, two rivers, two canals, three communications with the sea and the sea itself. Possible sources of pollution are referenced A, B, C and D. The hydrodynamical pattern in the system has first been computed for four different meteorological situations. Then for each situation and for each possible effluent an "influence ratio"; defined as the ratio of a point concentration to the source concentration, has been computed in each part of the system.
