Abstract
In the framework of a several-year and regional-cooperating programme of Alpine Hydrology, a project has dealed with applied research on flood observations. More than 200 stations where available, with more than 20 basin characteristics and the results coming from a similar project (300 stations) on daily rainfalls. The tools of Regional Hydrological methods were used, and rough models were calibrated in the CRUPEDIX or SOCOSE spirit. Results were mapped whith some innovation (recovered pseudo-specifie discharges), a great attention given to lacks and errors (both mapped), and a grid size chosen as to forbid local micro-relief or micro-climate interpretations.
