La gestion intégrée des milieux aquatiques. Une démarche nécessaire et incontournable
Integrated management of aquatic environments, a vital and unavoidable procedure

Abstract
The limits and problems caused by an approach that is too sectorial are now clearly identified. Global management is an unavoidable change and must be based on:
- a pluridisciplinary approach to the river concerning both the physical and ecosystem workings as well as social and economic aspects linked to the environment;
- an adapted, motivated, and competent institutional relay to provide consultation with partners on the ground and development of the concept of integrated management.
