Etude expérimentale de bulles de vapeur générées par laser

Using a pulsed laser for generating vapour bubbles offers numerous advantages to study their dynamics. Using a high-performance apparatus for measurements and visualizations (pressure probes adapted to high frequency measurements, interferometric method for pressure measurements, highspeed camera), representative pressure and energy measurements can be performed. Interesting results have been obtained on behaviour and energy distribution of bubbles evolving in infinite medium, near a solid wall or interacting with other bubbles.
