Abstract
SEDICOUP is a modelling system for simulation of sediment transport and morphological changes of river beds. Its approach is focussed on a precise solution of unsteady flow and sediment transport situations and of grading and armouring processes. The paper presents the validation stage of the modelling system and of the Danube model. The formulation f rom BAW, introduced in SEDICOUP, and the modelling techniques are compared with field measurements and observations.
