Abstract
Swirling bubbly flow remains still unknown on both experimental and modelling levels. In this paper, the experimental study gives the pattern flow structure and brings non-existing data concerning the void fraction distribution and phase velocities. Numerical simulation by a k - ε CFD code (Phoenics) confirms the observed experimental behaviours.
