Prise en compte du risque "inondation" dans l'aménagement de la région Ile-de-France
Préfet, Directeur Régional de l'Equipement d'Ile-de-France
Abstract
Since 1910, the urban, demographic and economic development of Paris region have been considerable: deep changes have also affected the way of life of the inhabitants, notably due to the development of transports and urban public services, on a regional scale.
The regional planning policy, which directs the urban development and the necessary transformations and mutations of the urban fabric, must take into accout flood risks and enable a control policy.
Approved in 1994, the Ile-de-France regional master scheme (SDRIF) illustrates this policy, for the future decades. This policy is conducted coherently with preventive and protective measures which the State is responsible for.
