Etat du comportement vibratoire observé sur le parc de turbines hydrauliques d'EDF
Vibratory behaviour observed on the EDF hydraulic turbines
EDF-DTG
Abstract
EDF operates a highly diversified installed base of machines for hydraulic power generation, ranging from a hundred kW to 290 MW. Most of them have protection systems based on measurement of non-rotating part vibration.
In the absence of validated criteria on this type of machine, EDF began a major vibration measurement campaign on a set of representative machines from one of the large units in the hydraulic installed base. EDF thus established a data base covering more than 300 machines.
Since then, the ISO and the IEC have begun writing the specific standards (ISO 10816/5 and IEC standard in progress) for which EDF's contribution will provide vibration criteria close to the behaviour observed in the national installed base.
