Abstract
The coupling between aerodynamic and dynamic phenomena which are necessarily found on a helicopler rotor are described. The numerical models which are being used to simulale these couplings are presented. They start from basic dynamic and aerodynamïc models (beam model coupled to 2D quasi steady aerodynamics), used for day to day analysis, to an iterative coupling between dynamics and 3D unsteady CFD. Future evolutions of these methods are also described. They will need powerful computers to solve CFD and CSM simultaneously.
