Computational modeling in fluid-structure interactions

Abstract
Computationnal methods in fluid-structure interaction may be used in quite different domains of parameter space. Depending on the respective time scales of fluid and solid motion and on the amplitude of solid motion, the numerical procedure may be significantly simplified by considering one of the media as motionless.
