Evolution hydrochimique de la nappe phréatique de Sidi Bouzid
Hydrochemical evolution of Sidi Bouzid groundwater
I.S.E.T., GAFSA, Tunisie
Abstract
The hydrochimical evolution of groundwater in Sidi Bouzid is analysed within its agricultural, industrial and climatical environnement: Degree of saturation of the soil, irrigation of the cultivated areas, precipitation and wastewater: It is shown that the environnmental effects on the soil and groundwater vulnerability depends on two groups of factors:
- Transports from surface to groundwater of sulfate and sodium which are linked to wastewater,
- Salinization of the soil due to the irrigation of the relatively salty waters.
