Abstract
In the Spanish central Pyrenees the last white glaciers of the Iberian Peninsula subsist. Il is small apparatuses that have experienced a very important setback along the XX century, hurried in the last two decades. A quantitative approach to the study of this setback consists on the study of the values of the flows of melting ice glacier in dates keys at the end of the summary station. It allows it to calculale the equivalent values of loss of power of the mass of ice. In Ihis work data are presented obtained in the glaciers of Infiernos and Maladeta Est, both located in the north of Aragon (Spain), in the middle of Axial Pyrenees, along three serial summers: years 1998, 1999 and 2000. The results certify the evident regressive tendency of these glaciers and they allow to foresee their next disappearance. The flows of melting ice values are accompanied of some chemical parameters that allow to characterize the hydrological characteristics of the water of melting of the ice glacier.
