Abstract
In a recent report, Yves Cochet, Green Party "député", proposes a new step in micro hydraulic plant building in France. His conclusions meet some lobby hopes: local public authorities, power plant owners, turbine and hydroelectric device manufacturers and opportunist business people. Facing this coalition, France Nature Environment replies by comparing the little amount of energy that can be produced with its huge impact on rivers.
