Abstract
The fine sediments rheology presents generally a complex fluid behaviour with non linear and time dependent properties. In this paper, some aspects of the non linearity of a port cohesive sediment behaviour are experimentally investigated. The effect of the density on the yield stress and on the viscosity is first described. Then creep tests are realized in order to highlight the viscosity bifurcation phenomena. Finally, the aging effect is highlighted.
