Abstract
The gas flow in a micro channel is a problem which one encounters in a large number of practical applications such as micro filters or micro cooling systems. These flows are rarefied and are characterized by Knudsen numbers in the range of transition flows. In this paper a direct simulation of Monte Carlo has been used to calculate the flow in a micro channel. A parametric study on different geometries of micro filters has been done.
