Abstract
Gas-liquid or liquid-vapor two-phase flows are encountered in many industrial systems or processes, such as nuclear reactors, rocket cryogenie engines, chemical contactors, oil wells, pipe-lines. evaporators or condensers. Offers for research and development by the French laboratories are exemplified in this paper. Cooperative research programs have been carried out in France for more than twenty-five years and have led to a network of French laboratories which are now internationally recagnized. They have also allowed technology ressources to be transferred from basic research to industrial applications.
