Résumé

La Société du Canal de Provence exploite depuis 1984 deux microcentrales installées sur ces ouvrages de transport artificiels. Depuis leur mise en service elle a eu à faire à un certain nombre de problèmes : cavitation dans la roue d'une turbine Francis, fonctionnement en moteur d'une génératrice avec détérioration des roulements de butée, défaut sur ligne E.D.F., réglage des actions du régulateur de commande des directrices (fréquence et durée), coincement de la vanne aval. Ces incidents ont été en partie corrigés et ont permis de mesurer le rendement en temps d'une microcentrale pendant la période de fonctionnement semi-industriel. Ces résultats peuvent être extrapolés à la période de fonctionnement industriel.

Abstract

The Société du Canal de Provence has been operating two small power plants installed on this artificial waterway since 1984. A number of problems have arisen since they were placed in service : cavitation in the impeller of a Francis turbine, operation of a motor as generator with damage to the thrust bearings, fault on Electricité de France transmission line, adjustment of the action of the guide vane governor (frequency and duration), sticking of the downstream valve. These problems have been partially corrected and allow the efficiency in time of a small power station to be measured during the semi-industrial operating period. These results can be extrapolated to the industrial operating period.
