Abstract

The comparison of models is a necessary stage of advanced techniques and which has just been demonstrated on a French scale, for example on the Meurthe, and on a worldwide scale under the sponshorship WMO and which is continuing. The objectives of the attempts, the methological precautions to be taken, the selection of criterium and the problem concerning implementation and interpretatipn are examined.
