Abstract

An hydropower station control and monitoring system is in charge of electromechanical devices automatic working. Until now, the EDF small stations control and monitoring was on the other stations system. But today in order to reduce the global cost of a station, the principles for the small stations that do not jeopardize people or electrical network, are to set up only working specifications and a guide for electrical installation. These new principles have been applied to some small stations renewing in 1997, in particular the Rabastens station.
