La mesure de débits en assainissement
Discharges measurement in sewers
Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussées, Division Eau, BP 4129, 44341 Bouguenais Cedex
Abstract
Measuring rates of flow in sewers is becoming increasingly common, in a variety of situations, and with different aims. A choice of measuring methods is available. They involve metering water levels, and in some cases the velocity of flow. For each kind of measurement, several technologies have been developed, with different ranges of use. When designing a measuring site, attention must be paid to constraints of urban environment, as well as hydraulic conditions, in order to choose the best combination between site, method and device. In every case, it is very important to check the assumptions that have been made, and the accurateness of measured values.
