Détermination théorique et visualisation de la ligne de jet d'un écoulement plan à surface libre sur une singularité en forme de marche

The flow has been simulated by a vortex distribution on the free surface and the jet line. The variation of jet line profiles with varying depths of fluid are shown in terms of Froude numher. For the sake of comparison, the method developed here has been applied to the classical case of Borda-nozzle. The theoretical results have also been compared with the experimental investigation by aluminium particles, and is shown to be in good agreement.
