Abstract
In this paper, it is shown that the formula "arc tg" giving the equivalent depth for the drainage of the homogeneous soil may, under certain conditions, be applied to the verticaly heterogeneous soil. This paper extends the results published in La Houille Blanche n° 7, 1995.
