Abstract
The radial static pressure distribution knowledge and understanding on the rotatîng disk of radial inward flow is one of the more sensible topic when you need to design the Axial Balancing System of a TurboPump. Simple and easy-to-use models and rules are presented for the two main configurations of enclosed rotating disks with superposed inward flow. These results are the achievement of a partnership between IRPHE Laboratory and SNECMA-Rocket Engine Division.
