Abstract
Sevesc, a subsidiary of Suez-Lyonnaise des Eaux and Vivendi, was launched in 1980 to take over the age-old service of water and fountains of Versailles which dated back to Louis XIV, as partner of the local authorities involved. Sevesc allies the glamour of history (the machine of Marly) and high technical achievement (G.I.S. (Geographie Information System), modeling of drink-water and sewage net system, etc.) and a highly efficient service (chartered customer-service, ISO 9002 certification in every activity field, drink-water production and supply, transport and treatment of sewage-water, rains-water, customer service, technical maintenance on every site in Yvelines and Hauts de Seine (two departments west side of Paris).
