Abstract
Which place for small hydraulic in the world electricity supply during the next thirty years? The simulations of energy balances by POLES model give us some numerical key points. Between these, the paper focuses on the most signiftcant evolutions: the rural development policies in China and other Asian countries: the incentives to generate green electricity in North America, Japan and West Europe: the transition towards a market economy in East Europe; the new orientation of the international financing in latin America: more institutional stability for more intenational financing in Africa.
