Abstract
Hydropower activity is important within the Adour-Garonne Basin. The Master Plan for Water Development and Management (SDAGE, which was approved in 1996) dedicates numerous measures to it, namely: return of migratory fishes, low water period management, functioning of hydropower peaking, guaranteed flow downstream hydrostation, floating wastes elimination, ... The partnership between Agence de l'Eau and EDF, which has been working since 1991, is now the privileged frame for all the works to be done.
