Changes of river-beds result of planning and management of rivers. With such changes prejudicial effects may occur.

The complex phenomena at skate cannot be simulated from existing knowledge.

Improvement of knowledge and elaboration of numerical model may be expected with setting in common engineering means.

Here is presented an approach of a national nature to develop a mathematical model for sediment transport.
