EPTB : a common intervention tool for concerned local authorities for the implementation of actions planned by the SDAGE

The EPTB are French river basin public organization gathering local authorities (cities, Departments or Regions) aiming at facilitating integrated river basin water management.Their vocation is to be the contracting authority who leads concerted studies, works or actions of common interest at river basin scale.For the implementation of a number of actions planned by the SDAGE : SAGE coordination, structuring works management, sub-basin management, etc…, EPTB can be a common intervention tool for concerned local authorities. Some examples of actions actually implemented by EPTB will be given.
